Bicycling Along the Red Cedar River
This 14.5-mile hard packed crushed stone trail runs
parallel with the Red Cedar River from Menomonie to
Dunnville where it connects with the Chippewa River Trail.
Thousands use it annually for bicycling, jogging,
hiking, and cross-country skiing. It passes through
wooded sandstone bluffs, prairies and wetlands.
Although we didn't see one, this is a favorite
spot for Bald Eagles. We did see wild turkeys
along the way.
