Bicycling Along the Mighty Mississippi
This is a 24-mile crushed stone trail that parallels
the Mississippi River. Endpoints are Onalaska
(near La Crosse) and Trempealeau National Wildlife
Refuge.
The trail traverses a mixture of prairie and
bottom lands. There are 18 bridges crossing several
waterways, including the Black River, Shingle Creek,
Tank Creek and Halfway Creek.
